We are a United Methodist church, one of approximately four-hundred
in the Northern Illinois Conference. The theology that informs our
preaching and life is basically Wesleyan; we are also ecumenical
with "open hearts, open minds, and open doors" to all God's people.
Many of our members have come from other traditions to find a
spiritual home with us. All find a warm welcome in Christ's spirit
of love and concern.

This is a service of prayer, burning and
receiving of the ashes from last years palm branches as a sign of
forgiveness and repentance, and our prayers for God's help in healing
our broken, hurting lives and world. We come for renewal of spirit and
life, and to follow Christ as faithful disciples.
